Lost in Paris - Part 12: La Défense, Grand Arche and Place de la Concord

Am 1. Mai in Paris haben wir uns noch in das Geschäftsviertel "La Défense" begeben und ich war überrascht, wie viel da los war, auch wenn wir nur ein Restaurant gefunden haben, in dem wir Mittagessen konnten.
Kristi war völlig hin und weg, mein Geschmack treffen diese modernen Gebäude aber überhaupt nicht, wenigstens habe ich die Grand Arche mal von Nahem gesehen und bin zufrieden :)
 At the 1. may in Paris we have visited the business district "La Défense" and I was surprise how crowded it was, even though we just found one open restaurant to eat lunch.
Kristi fell completely in love with the buildings, but I have to say, that I don't really like this modern architecture,  but at least I saw the "Grand Arche" from the near and I am satisfied :)

Dann sind wir dann noch mal zur "Place de la Concorde" gefahren, da ich noch keine richtigen Photos davon gemacht hatte und das unbedingt noch sein sollte.
Danach haben wir uns ein Eis im "Jardin des Tuileries" gegönnt.
 Afterwards we went to the  "Place de la Concorde", because I didn't really take any pictures of it and I definitely wanted to do that.
Then we ate an ice cream in the  "Jardin des Tuileries".
