Lost in Firenze - Part 23: Over and Out!

Die ist mein letzter Post über Florenz und ab der nächsten Woche gibt es dann Bilder und Geschichten aus dem wunderschönen Barcelona :) Hier habe ich nur ein wenig meinen "Abflug" dokumentiert:
 This is the last article about Florence and the next week you can see pictures and read stories about the stunning Barcelona :) Here I just have documentated a bit my "departure":

Mein Zimmer, grad am packen 4Uhr nachts, weil grad erst vom Spiel schauen England - Schweden und ein bisschen Party zurück gekommen^^ // My room, packing at 4o'clock at night, because just came back from the match England - Sweden and a bit of partying^^

unsere kleine aber feine Küche mit... // our small but nice kitchen with...

...unserer atemberaubenden Terrasse!! // ...our breathtaking terrace!!

Am nächsten Morgen über den Piazza Santa Maria Novella... // then the next morning passing the Piazza Santa Maria Novella...

... zum Bahnhof um den Zug nach Rom zu nehmen // ...to the train station, to take the train to Rome

Am Flughafen doch noch mal probiert: Cannolo, haben mich schon die ganze Zeit angelacht, war mir aber nie sicher... Soll eine Spezialität aus Sizilien sein, in der Teigrolle ist i-eine süße Creme drin, die eigentlich ganz lecker ist :) Also bereut habe ich es nicht^^ //At the airport I tried it: Cannolo, they smiled at my everytime, but I wasn't really sure... Should be something special from Sicilia, in the dough roll is a sweet creme inside, which quiet good :) Well, I definitely don't regret it^^

Und die Maschienen starten... / and the machines are starting...

Fazit: 6 Wochen Florenz waren einfach verdammt schnell vorbei und ich hatte das Gefühl, einfach viel zu schnell schon wieder weg zu müssen^^ Auch wenn die Stadt an sich ziemlich klein ist und überfüllt mit Touristen, hab ich mich ziemlich wohl gefühlt und kenn mich mitlerweile recht gut aus. Ich hoffe, dass ich i-wann nochmal die Chance hab dort hin zu fahren, nochmal in die Clubs zu gehen, den Duomo zu sehen und vill. bei der Sprachschule vorbei schauen ;)
 Conclusion: 6 weeks Florence just were too fast over and I had the feeling, that I had to leave to early^^ Even if the city is pretty small and it is crowded with tourists, I felt good and I know the city pretty well. I hope to come back a time and have the chance to visit the clubs, to see the Duomo and say hello to my language school :)

Lost in Firenze - Part 22: Calcio Storico

Eigentlich wollte ich am letzten Freitag schon nach Rom, eine Nacht dort verbringen und dann weiter in den Flieger nach Barcelona.... ABER, genau an diesem Freitag fand dieses Calcio Storico statt und das konnte ich mir einfach nicht entgehen lassen.
Was das ist? Es soll eine Mischung aus Fussball und Rugby sein mit gaaaanz vielen Kerlen auf dem Platz... Also eigentlich war es nur eine wilde Schlacht mit einem Fussball und am Ende des Matches hatten weniger als ein Viertel ihre T-Shirts noch an, was meine Hoffnung auf ein "Trikot-Tausch" ziemlich minimierte^^
Aber!!! Von den Blauen (die auch gewonnen haben), hab ich dann doch noch eins bekommen, ein neues, frisch gepresstes, was ich nicht erst noch waschen musste^^
 Actually I wanted to go to Rome at the last friday, stay there one night and then go by flight to Barcelona... BUT, exactely at this friday this Calcio Storico took place and I definitely had to go there.
 What's that?? It should be a mixture of football and rugby with a very lot of guys on the field....
So actually it was just a wild fight with a football and at the end of the match less than a quarter still had theire t-shirts on, what minimized my hope to change the tricot^^
But!!! From the blue (who won) I got finally a shirt, a new, fresh printed one, which I didn't need to wash^^

it starts!!

Beginning Ceremony

Ich glaub das Spiel ging 50 Minuten und war doch recht interessant anzusehen, wenn auch ein wenig unübersichtlich teilweise^^ // I think the game took 50 minutes and it was quiet interesting, even if it was a bit confusing some times^^

ferti g:) // fast jeder ist halb nackt^^ // finished :) nearly everybody is half-naked^^

Medaillen verteilen und.... // give the medals and...

...noch ein schönes Foto machen lassen^^ // ... and letting take a nice picture^^

Fazit: Auf jeden Fall sehenswert, auch wenn ich dachte, dass ein paar jüngere und attraktivere Typen mitmachen^^ Aber halt mal was Anderes :)
 Conclusion: definitely worth to see, even if I thought, that there are some more young and more attractive guys^^ But it was something different :) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lost in Firenze - Part 21: for the last time...

Eine kleine Liste von Dingen, die ich in den letzten Tagen in Florenz zum letzten mal gemacht habe:
 A short list about things I did the in the last days in Florence for the last time:

Schöne Gegenden entdecken und Fotos machen // Discover nice areas and taking pictures

mit meinen Duds weggehen :) // go out with my dudes :)

in einer Bar den Europa Cup sehen // watching the Europe Cup in a bar

lustige Leute treffen^^ // meeting funny people^^

Nachtfotos machen // taking night pictures

Diesen Weg zur Schule gehen // taking this way to school

Bis zum vierten Stock hochlatschen (und ich habe NIE NIE den Lift genommen^^) // go up to the 4. floor (and I have NEVER NEVER taken the lift^^)

Auf der Terrasse sonnen :) (und sich über den blauen Fleck am Knie wundern^^) // sunbathing on our terrace :) (and wonderung about the blue mark on my knee^^)

Zwei Posts folgen noch liebe Kindern und dann gibt es News aus Barcelona, wo ich jetzt schon die zweite Woche bin :)

Lost in Firenze - Part 20: Up the Duomo

Endlich habe ich es auch geschafft den Duomo hoch zuklettern :) In der letzten Woche habe ich noch ein bereitwilliges Opfer gefunden, mit dem ich dort hin gehen kann^^ Wir sind relativ spät gegangen, ich glaube eine Stunde vor Schließung, eine sehr gute Idee um die normalerweise elend langen Schlange zu vermeiden :)
 Finally I managed it to go up the Duomo :) The last week I found a "victim" to go with me^^ We went pretty late, I think about one hour before it closes, a good idea to avoid those horrible long queues :)

Ein Blick nach oben // a view up

Auf dem Weg nach oben einen Blick durchs Glas in die Halle // On the way up  a view through the glass into the hall

Höher und höher // higher and higher

Der erste Blick nach unten! // the first view down!

Dem Duomo an sich auch noch ein Bild gegönnt // took a pictureof the Duomo itself again

langsam beginnt der Sonnenuntergang // slowely starts the sunset

Das Absteigen, mindestens genauso anstrengend wie das hoch^^ // the climb down, at least as challenging as the climb up^^

noch einen kurzen Blick in den Duomo geschmissen // threw a short view into the Duomo

Auf die Anstrengung erstmal ein Kinder-Bueno/Smarties-Eis :) // after this effort a kinder-bueno/smarties-ice-cream :)

noch eine Runde in den Straßen rumgelaufen // walking through some streets  afterwards

dahinten zum Grünen will ich... // there behind to the green I wanna go...

Ist schon mal ein Anfang von Grün^^ // That's a beginning of green^^

Ja, auch nicht so schöne Seiten von Florenz werdengezeigt^^ // Yes, not so pretty sites of Florence are gonna be shown as well^^

Stillgestanden, Kamerad!! // Stand to attention, comrade!!

Katzen scheints beim Mitlitär ja gut zu gehen^^ // seems like cats have a good life at the military^^

Noch ein kurzer Einblick in den Botanischen Garten // Just a short look into the botanic garden

Auf dem Rückweg natürlich wieder am Duomo vorbei^^ // On the way back, for sure passing the Duomo^^

Fazit: Also wer nicht auf/im Duomo gewesen ist, kann nicht behaupten Florenz gesehen zu haben, denn es ist wirklich die wichtigste Sehenswürdigkeit und das Aushängeschild der Stadt, zudem auch noch wunderschön und so zentral^^ Man sieht den Duomo fast von überall.
 Conclusion: If you haven't visited the Duomo, you can't say you have seen Florence, because this is the most important attraction and a "flagship" of the city, furthermore beautiful and very central^^ You can see the Duomo from nearly everywhere.
